FALCONE PIANO CO., Est. 1983 by Santi Falcone and imported pianos to sell
     in his retail stores.  In 1985 he opened a piano factory at 35 Duncan St.,
     Haverhill, MA.  In 1989 Falcone was purchased by Bernard Greer.  Falcone
    controlled the names Mason & Hamlin, Knabe, Sohmer and George Steck.
     Falcone Piano Co. became the Mason & Hamlin Corp.  Mason & Hamlin
     closed down in late 1994.  In April 1996 Kirk and Gary Burgett, owners of
       Music Systems Research bought the assets of the company and announced
       plans to continue production of Mason & Hamlin, Knabe and Sohmer.
