JEWETT, ALLAN, Est. about 1860; In 1860 Wade Jewett and George A. Allen
began making Allen & Jewett Pianos. In 1869 Allen retired and the com-
pany became known as W. H. Jewett & Co. Sometime after 1901 it became
Jewett & Co. Later purchased by Steinert & Sons. Following serial num-
bers are for any Jewett piano.
