Steinway & Sons of New York , square grand piano, serial number 7121. This rosewood piano is a magnificent example of early piano making. This particular piano was made in approximately 1863, being one of Steinway's earliest pianos (Steinway serial numbers are now in the 600,000s).
The piano is complete with a light-colored rosewood case, octagonal carved legs, the beautiful music rack with Steinway logo, and the pedals with lyre. The keys are beautiful ivory with a darker front facing, as was typical during that time period.
The piano measures 6'6" by 3'2" and is 3'2" in height.
